General

What is FastRender.ai?

FastRender.ai is an AI-powered rendering service that transforms your Rhino 3D models into photorealistic architectural renders in seconds.

How does it work?

FastRender captures your Rhino viewport, sends it along with your description to our AI service (powered by Google Gemini), and returns a photorealistic render.

Do I need powerful hardware?

No. All rendering happens in the cloud. You just need a computer that can run Rhino 8 and an internet connection.

Compatibility

Which Rhino versions are supported?

FastRender requires Rhino 8 or later. Rhino 7 and earlier versions are not supported.

Does it work on Mac?

Not yet. FastRender currently supports Windows only. Mac support is planned for the future.

Does it work with Grasshopper?

The plugin works with any Rhino model, including those created or modified with Grasshopper. However, there's no direct Grasshopper integration at this time.

Account & Billing

How do I create an account?

Visit fastrender.ai/signup to create a free account.

What plans are available?

What happens when I run out of credits?

• Hobby plan: Wait until next month for credits to reset
• Pro plan: Enable metered billing to generate additional renders at $0.06 per credit

Can I get a refund?

All payments are final and non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription anytime, and it remains active until the end of your billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

1. Go to Plans and Billing
2. Click Manage Plan & invoices
3. In the Stripe portal, click Cancel Subscription

Privacy & Data

What happens to my 3D models?

We capture a 2D snapshot (image) of your viewport—we never store your actual 3D files.

Are my renders private?

Yes. Your renders are private to your account. We don't share or display them publicly unless you choose to share them.

Do you use my images to train AI?

Currently, no. We don't use your images or prompts to train AI models. If this changes in the future, we'll notify you and provide an opt-out option.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored on secure servers in the United States (AWS S3, Neon database).

Plugin

Where do I find my API key?

Log in to fastrender.ai, go to API Key.

Can I reset my API key?

Yes. Go to API Key and click Reset License Key. Note that this immediately invalidates your old key.

Renders

How long does generation take?

Typically 10-30 seconds. During peak hours, it may take up to 1-2 minutes.

Why doesn't my render look like I expected?

AI generation can be unpredictable. Try:

• Being more specific in your description
• Using reference images
• Trying different style settings
• Generating multiple variations

Can I use renders commercially?

Yes! You own full rights to all renders generated with your account. Use them for client work, marketing, portfolios, and more.

What resolution are renders?

Renders are generated at [1344 * 768 resolution]. Higher resolutions will be available through Studio upscaling (coming soon).
