Check that your system meets these requirements before installing FastRender.
Software Requirements
Rhino Version

Rhino 7 Not Supported
FastRender requires Rhino 8 or later. Rhino 7 and earlier versions are not supported.

Hardware Requirements
FastRender processes renders in the cloud, so you don't need powerful local hardware. However, you do need:
Minimum Requirements
- Processor: Any modern CPU (Intel/AMD)
- RAM: 8 GB
- Storage: 100 MB for plugin installation
- Display: 1280x720 resolution
Recommended Requirements
- Processor: Intel Core i5 / AMD Ryzen 5 or better
- RAM: 16 GB or more
- Display: 1920x1080 resolution or higher
Network Requirements
FastRender requires an internet connection to generate renders.
Connection Speed
- Minimum: 5 Mbps download/upload
- Recommended: 25+ Mbps for faster image transfer
Firewall & Proxy
Ensure the following domains are accessible:
api.fastrender.ai— API endpointfastrender.ai— Web application- Stripe domains — For billing (if applicable)

Rhino Updates
For best compatibility, keep Rhino updated:
- Open Rhino
- Go to Help → Check for Updates
- Install any available updates
